HOW DO I ENQUIRE ABOUT MY WEDDING DATE & GET A QUOTE?
Please head to the contact page on my website & build a quote through my enquires form. Be sure to include the number of people wanting hair &/or makeup & what time you need to be ready to go by so that I can create a wedding morning schedule for you with your quote.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM SPEND?
Yes, I require a minimum wedding day spend of £500 when booking with just myself & £700 with bookings that require me hiring an additional artist to help to get everyone ready in time, This is so that all artists can be paid fairly. I will sometimes make exceptions for last minute & off peak dates so it is worth getting in touch to check. For locations outside of London I may need to increase the minimum spend. Your trial & artists travel costs are not included, though charges for additional artists are.
WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE NEED HAIR/MAKEUP YET?
If you're not sure on numbers yet, you can still book me for your date on the agreement that the minimum spend will be met. I will need to know final numbers at least 3 months before your wedding date.
WHERE/WHEN DOES MY TRIAL TAKE PLACE?
I recommend booking in 2-3 months before your wedding day but only when you have decided on what you will wear so that we can create something to compliment it. I will send you a link to my calendar when it's time to book you in which is normally 5-6 months before your wedding date.
I hold trials Monday - Thursday day time, typically at my home in Forest Hill, SE London. Though if you're based within London I can come to you if you prefer, travel expenses & a call out fee will be added. For those who can't make Monday-Thursday I can sometimes make a Friday or Sunday work, subject to change in the case that a wedding booking comes up.
A bridal hair & makeup trial takes around 3.5-4 hours or 2 hours for hair or makeup only. For bridal party trials i'll need an extra 1.5 hours for hair & makeup or 1 hour for hair or makeup.
CAN I HAVE A TRIAL BEFORE COMMITTING TO BOOK?
Trials do not hold wedding dates & so they are reserved for those with a booking. I encourage you to book in a complimentary video chat with me before putting down your deposit so that we can meet & go over any questions or concerns that you may have before committing.
CAN I BRING SOMEONE TO MY TRIAL?
If you would like to bring someone along to your trial for support I am happy for you to. Though I ask that you bring no more than one person & let me know in advance if you plan to do so.
HOW CAN A BRIDAL PARTY MEMBER BOOK A TRIAL?
I take all bookings directly through you or your wedding planner. Bridal party trials can only be booked as an add on to your own trial on the same date & time.
CAN I OPT OUT OF HAVING A TRIAL?
I don't like to take wedding bookings without a trial as I find this can make your wedding morning hectic & stressful for everyone involved. In extreme cases, for example you live overseas & can't make it over for a trial, we can arrange a virtual one to discuss your look, skincare routine & wedding day logistics.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED AN ADDITIONAL ARTIST & WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
When you fill out the enquiry form I will work this out based on your numbers & the time you need to be ready by & include this in your quote. A charge of £150 will be added for every additional artist needed.
HOW DO YOU SOURCE THE ARTIST?
I have a trusted directory of artists with a similar style to my own. I will share the website/instagram of the artist once I have booked them in for your date.
WHAT IF YOU CAN'T MAKE MY WEDDING IN AN EMERGENCY OR ILLNESS?
In the unlikely event that I am unable to make it on your wedding day I will do everything in my power to find a suitable replacement. I have a trusted directory of artists that I know I can lean on for support should the dreaded happen! There are more details about this in my Terms & Conditions.
WILL YOU STAY FOR TOUCH UPS/ A STYLE CHANGE?
I provide all brides with a complimentary touch up kit to use throughout the day. Though I only ever take on one wedding per day so am happy to stick around & provide touch ups for you or a style change for the reception/evening. I charge by the hour for this service from the time you are ready for the ceremony.
WHAT IF THE BRIDAL SUITE ISN'T AVAILABLE UNTIL LATER IN THE MORNING, CAN WE MOVE LOCATIONS?
I would strongly recommend against moving locations during the getting ready process as it adds extra time & stress to the morning. If it can't be avoided I will need to add ample time for this to the schedule & will charge a moving fee. This is because once i'm set up, it adds a lot of extra work to pack down, move & unpack again.
